School will be back in session early August and for kiddos and teens that means school supplies will be needed for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Our food pantry clients can sign-up to receive backpacks, but donations are needed from the congregation!

The efforts are led again by Kim Roy, she explains, “we will do a Pre-K through 5th grade backpack and a middle school back pack.” Last year we gave out 300 backpacks and that is our goal again this year.

We will collect completed backpacks/supplies/donations July 6th, July 13th and July 20th at a table in the courtyard or in the church office during normal business hours. Monetary donations are also accepted, you can donate online at coker.org/donate.

We will pack the backpacks on July 29th and 31st from 6-8 PM (Rector 1st Floor). Distribution of the backpacks will be on August 1st from 8-11 AM. If you’d like to volunteer, contact Kim!
