Coker Kids

Coker Kids Ministry is committed to helping kids and their families meet new people, believe in Jesus, grow in their faith, and go out to share His love with others.

Having parents and caregivers who also come alongside children in their faith walk, dramatically increases the potential of children to stand on a firm foundation when the world around them is constantly changing.

At Coker, we have a place for kids to find belonging and other kids to connect with. We come alongside parents and caregivers to equip them to walk alongside their kids as their kids grow in faith.

From Coker Kids to Coker Students, we are intentional about the programs we offer and invite kids, parents, and caregivers into. Our Family Ministries team are not just paid staff or long-time volunteers, they are students, parents, grandparents, caregivers, professionals, and others like YOU who speak into what kids need.

When we invite kids to join us, it is during one of the following:

MEET

A “meet” event is fun! It encourages kids to enjoy time together and get to know one another. If your child is new to the idea of church, new to faith, or just looking to connect with others their age- a meet event is a great place to start!

BELIEVE

A “believe” event or class intentionally introduces kids to Jesus, this is where kids learn more about the character of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit through scriptures.

GROW

A “grow” event or class takes what we know to be true about the Bible, Jesus, and God, and encourages kids and parents or caregivers to grow deeper.

GO

A “go” event or class is to go out and share the love of Jesus with others. This may include serving in the community, serving in the family, or reaching out to a neighbor. A go initiative may include kids becoming leaders to help lead other kids.

Then the circle begins again! Those who share the love of Jesus also invite others to a meet event and the love of Jesus spreads!

Sundays

Kingdom Kids | In-Person | 9:30 AM
Kingdom Kids offers an engaging opportunity for kids to explore, create, and inquire about God through stories, food, music, nature, and more!
Kids age 4-5th grade

Sunday School | In-Person | 11:00 AM
Our traditional Sunday School class makes space for worship, a Bible lesson, conversation, and activities so kids can learn more about God and themselves.
Kids age 4-5th grade

PreTeen Sunday School available for 3rd-5th graders
Bilingual Sunday School available for 4yrs-5th graders

Note: nursery will be open (for children under 4yrs of age)

No Coker Kids Sunday School on July 1

Wednesdays

5:30-7:30 PM | Rector (downstairs)

All kids are invited to join us for our weekly Wednesday night fun! Wednesday nights consist of dinner, Music with Mark, a Bible lesson, and activities that help kids dig in to foundational Scriptures. We can’t wait to see you!
