4. Seedbed Wake-Up Call Daily Devotional | The Wake-Up Call, by Seedbed, is a daily encouragement to shake off the slumber of our busy lives and turn our eyes toward Jesus. Each morning our community gathers around a Scripture, a reflection, a prayer, and a few short questions, inviting us to reorient our lives around the love of Jesus who transforms our hearts, homes, churches, and cities. This Advent season, the wake up call will also center around “Brought to the Light” the same book that we are using in Pastor Adam’s in-person Advent Study, and the same book that is inspiring the Advent sermon series. Las Posadas

December 21 | 6-9 PM | Sanctuary at Coker
An Advent Service in the Hispanic tradition that recalls Mary’s and Joseph’s search for shelter in Bethlehem. Worshipers follow the Holy Family as they visit several innkeepers looking, unsuccessfully, for shelter. They finally find room and are welcomed into a manger. Our evening begins with a service in the Sanctuary and is followed by a fiesta with fun, music, door prizes, photo booth with Santa, and a piñata for the kids.
