Caregivers Workshop | February 23, 202210-11:30 AM | Coker Campus

Caregiving is a labor of love. Caregiving runs a spectrum from accompanying your loved one to doctor’s visits to total 24-hour hands-on care.  It is important for caregivers to recognize what they are capable of and what options are available to supplement the care which they provide.  We will host a caregiver workshop on February 23rd, 10-11:30 AM. This workshop is geared for caregivers of those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Guest speakers, Dr. Neela Patel, head of UT Health Geriatric and Palliative Care, and Dr. Carla White head of the UT Health Caregiver program will present information, resources and answer questions.
