Coker Methodist Men
Gain connection to a network of Christian men through the Methodist Men. Their mission is to Help Men Grow their relationship with Christ. They strive to lead others by modeling Jesus Christ in thoughts, words and deeds, thereby influencing others in their walk with the Lord, their Savior. The Coker Methodist Men meet each Monday morning throughout the year. They meet for a hot, homemade breakfast, at 7 AM, in the Gym Kitchen. Prayer, food, fellowship, Scripture Lesson, and finally, familiar hymns are sung before adjourning. Coker Methodist Men support various Christian ministries whose community outreach reflects Christ’s teachings, “to Love God and others as themselves”. In this spirit, Coker Methodist Men supports Habitat for Humanity, Kairos Prison Ministries, Boy Scouts, Methodist Children’s Home, the San Antonio Rescue Mission to name a few. Each year, over $20,000 are donated to these important ministries. Funds are raised throughout the year, but especially through their annual Charity Golf Tournament. To date, over $300,000 have been donated.
