Visit Us

Visiting a new church can be intimidating.

What should I wear? Where should I park? Where do my kids go? What is the service like? Should I talk to anyone? If it’s your first time at Coker, we’d be honored to have you worship with us. We want to insure your visit with us is a pleasant one, so we have tried to answer a few questions you might have. We do hope to meet and worship with you soon!

What is a Service Like?

We have different services for you to choose from. A traditional service, a contemporary service featuring worship songs you’d likely hear on your favorite radio station, and a Spanish language service as well. We want everyone to be able to worship in an environment that is comfortable and more importantly connects them to God.

What should I expect?

What should I wear?

The most important thing is that you are comfortable, so we’d say dress down or dress up… whatever you like. You’ll find that most people simply dress for comfort. After all, we’re not trying to impress anyone.

Where do I go?

Once you enter the building, any of our greeters will be happy to assist you. If it’s answering a simple question about the building or having them walk you to the Children’s ministry area or a specific worship, they’re happy to assist you. So please, don’t hesitate to ask for assistance!

What classes do you have for adults?

We have many Adult Bible Studies based on stage of life. Our Bible Studies are very engaging and focused on Biblical principles for application in our daily lives. Find a greeter on Sunday and let them help guide you to a Bible Study for you.

We also have Small Groups throughout the week and based on a variety of interests. We believe the community and quality of relationships that occur in Small Groups is vital for our continued spiritual growth. It’s a great way to meet new folks and share faith and life together.

I have questions about Baptism.

If you are interested in Baptism, you can learn more about baptism and also notify us of your desire for baptism. E-mail one of our Pastors to learn more.

If you have questions about Jesus or matters of faith, you can contact the Coker team and they will connect with you. Visit the Our Team Page to contact someone from the Coker team.
