Stephen Ministry

Our Stephen Ministers are waiting to extend a comforting hand to anyone who is experiencing a difficult time in his or her life. Fill out a blue Stephen Ministry card in the pew and drop it in our blue box. You can also contact our Stephen Leaders, Steve Austin and Peggy Caravantes, or the church office at 210-494-3455.

Coker Addiction Recovery Education (CARE) Ministry

The Coker Addiction, Recovery Education (CARE) Team is a ministry of church members interested in providing education and support to all those affected by addictions. Our efforts include from the very youngest to the very oldest and all those in-between. It includes those struggling with addictions and all those friends and family members addictions impact. Support groups offered at Coker include, Alcoholics Anonymous(AA), Al Anon(for family and friends of alcoholics), S Anon(for family and friends affected by someone else’s sexual behavior) and Parents of Adult Children with Addictions.

The Vine Wellness Group

The Vine Wellness Group is a faith-based counseling ministry supported by local churches, including Coker. They offer their services at a very affordable, reduced rate for those who are members of the participating churches.
