Dear Ones,

Coker UMC has a sacred past. We have the opportunity to give generously to continue the mission and ministry of Coker just as previous generations have built what we enjoy. We are entrusted with the future that will serve generations yet to come.

This page is not only a report of the ministries we presently offer, but it also represents the possibilities before us when we join together in faithful stewardship of our gifts. We cannot begin to count the blessings for ourselves, our families, our friends and for others not even known to us because of the mission, ministry, fellowship and outreach of Coker.

Please look at the life-changing ministries we offer in the name of the Lord and then prayerfully consider what God is calling you to give to support the work of His Kingdom through Coker UMC. I invite you to join me in making a financial pledge to Coker for 2013. Financial giving is a core spiritual discipline, a blessing, and a privilege to be generous with the gifts God has entrusted to us. It is an opportunity to Love God + Serve Others + Change the World.

Faithfully,

Pastor Barbara

Coker UMC is called to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  Coker members and friends support the work of God at Coker through their financial gifts.  The need for Coker's ministries and mission outreach is greater than ever.  Coker needs your financial gifts to support its mission and ministries.  Coker members and friends need to contribute financially to grow in their discipleship.

"Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
-2 Corinthians 9:7

Why pledge?
Your actions allow others to experience God's love through you. Your pledge shows us your intention to be a part of the many diverse ministries of Coker in spirit.
